To editor Edward-Woodrow: you must give a rationale, a reason to rename this article. Without a rationale this request will have to be disapproved and closed. P.I. Ellsworth , ed. put'er there 03:51, 22 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi,
I wasn't the one that proposed the move. This template was originally incorrectly placed in the article @Wikiuser007700:, and I moved it onto the talk page.

Mybad, so sorry editor Edward-Woodrow. Editor Wikiuser007700 must then give a rationale very soon or I shall have to procedurally close this request. And I have changed the hyphen to an endash. Thank you for your edits! P.I. Ellsworth , ed. put'er there 12:45, 22 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I left a message on Wikiuser007700's talk page. Edward-Woodrow (talk) 19:52, 23 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Gerasimov/Mikoyan[edit]

I've tagged these statements: "Soviet leader Valery Gerasimov met with President Touré to discuss economic and cultural ties in addition to Soviet aid" and "Soon after, Moscow appointed its First Deputy Premier, Anastas Mikoyan to Guinea in January 1962." as needing clarification. The first wikilinked to Valery Gerasimov, a Russian general who would have been about 5 years old at this time. However I'm not aware of another Valery Gerasimov who could be called a 'Soviet leader' of this period. Is the name wrong, or the description? Can it be clarified what position this Soviet official actually held? As to Mikoyan, the preceding sentence is about Solod's dismissal, so it is perhaps implied that Mikoyan was the new ambassador, except he wasn't. Mikoyan was active in diplomacy at this time though, so what was he actually appointed to Guinea to do? Spokoyni (talk) 12:46, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
